I haven't downloaded it yet but the trailer for it looks like something right up my alley! The concept seems compelling and the overall aesthetic is like Pokemon/Zelda meets horror.

A really strong first look! I got a good sense for the look and feel of the game and both are excellent. I really enjoyed the puzzles, I'd imagine they'll get a lot more challenging as the game progresses which would be great. I also appreciate that you gave the first look nice narrative arc rather than just dropping it off a cliff.

I don't want to leave a whole novel here so check your email in a little bit. ; ) Long story short: great work, I hope you guys continue with this project because I'd definitely play more of this!

This game seems super cool! Definitely enjoyed finding clues and exploring- reminded me of Corpse Party and I loved that!! Can't wait for updates :-)

Hey there, thanks for the comment! We're glad you enjoyed the First Look Demo.

Really glad you felt the Corpse Party influence. That one definitely stuck out to me when I first played it a few years back, so it's not a total shock that its influence snuck its way in during the gameplay and level design. Last Call's aiming for a different tone for sure - more mysterious and surreal - but the gameplay will still feel very familiar even as we move forward.

As for updates, we're currently sitting back, collecting feedback, and seeing what we can do when we move forward. Additionally, Kerry - the game's artist - said he was working on a project related to Last Call. So keep an eye out, and we'll share what we can when the time comes.

It looks interesting but I seen to be stuck in the hallway that shrink( and both door disappear(they was a phone and an exit sign before entering), i've been waiting for 10 minutes but i'm wondering if it's a bug or if I failed somewhere

EDIT: I reloaded the save and it seems to work now

Hi there, appreciate the comment and video.

If that is a bug, it's the first I've heard of it. Glad you got it figured out, though. It is basically just a back-and-forth thing in that hallway. If I hear more confusion about it, I'll try and update it to simplify the event.

Yeah i'm guessing the event got blocked, I uploaaded it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=coyDzDY-zts you can see me going back and forth and trying to find an hidden doorway which doesn't exist :p

Yeah, that's a bit odd...

Obviously you figured it out by now - but the key is just to go back and forth, and keep interacting with the "doors" at each end of the hallway as it shrinks down.  After a few times, it just becomes automatic.

Tried it again myself, and no issues. We also had a streamer check out the game last night, with no issues on her end. So it's either a strange one-time bug or a trigger was missed.

Regardless, I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. It's something we'll definitely keep in mind if we do a similar event in the full game. As for the Demo, If this proves to be an issue for others down the line, I'll go in and try to simplify it a bit.
